There are several reasons bakit hindi masunod sunod ang budget kahit na naiayos mo na to based on your projected expenses.
Pero let's focus dito sa 4 unexpected and unconscious habits na hindi nakakatulong sa atin.
Convenience Spending - Grab dito, Grab doon kahit na meron naman cheaper alternatives. Kaso dahil lagi tayong nagmamadali and we live in a "fast paced world", we tend to choose the faster and more convenient BUT expensive option. Pero ang pinaka root cause nito, TIME MANAGEMENT.
Instant gratification - yun mga “I deserve this”. Actually mahirap ito lalo na if meron kang friends na enabler na “oo you deserve that!”at ang famous “heal your inner child” kahit nagdadalawang isip ka pa. Dagdag mo pa yun mga SALES and DISCOUNTS na alam naman natin na most of the time MARKETING STUNT lang ito.
Magaling kang mag Reason out - dinedefend mo yung mga nasa ADD TO CART mo kahit di mo naman kailangan. Pero dahil magaling kang mag reason out, na-check out mo na. So ilan beses mo na tong ginawa?
Emotional Spending - Stress, bored, and lalo na if naaapektuhan yun mental health natin due to anxiety, nagkakaroon tayo ng “valid” reason to reward ourselves. Most people use SHOPPING and DINING OUT to de-stress. And dahil dun may mga unexpected and unplanned expenses tayo na makakaapekto sa budget natin.
Guilty din ako sa mga namention ko dito. Pero kung iisipin, mabubuhay naman ako ng wala itong mga ito.
Pero if hindi talaga maiiwasan yun mga ganitong expenses, add them to your monthly budget. Kaya meron kang WANTS Fund para meron kang budget na pwedeng ubusin to “heal your inner child”.
Remember, personal finance is very personal. Kaya malaking bagay na maging self-aware ka sa spending habits mo.
